A Note From The Innkeepers

We've had a bit of snow and soon we'll be snuggled in with a white blanket that will last until April…

mud season

Right now though we are busy with holiday preparations—cutting greenery for our annual wreath making party, baking breads and cookies and looking forward to ski season.

Before we know it December merry-making will be here and then the excitement of New Year's Eve. Now is a great time to plan a visit to Vermont!

There are craft fairs aplenty, holiday concerts, winter farmers' markets and lots of outdoor fun to put those winter roses in your cheeks. It won't be long until the ski resorts open and we are in a location that allows you to sample a different slope every day. Or, stop by one of Montpelier's many independent book shops for a good book. Pair it with your slippers and you can relax and recharge before the holidays!
