Our winter wonderland is upon us! It's time to break out the snowshoes, the skis and the long underwear.

let it snow!

We've had our cross country skis out already, just getting our glide on through our own fields. The VAST trails are scheduled to open on December 16th. Skiiers may share the trails with riders so the options are limitless for miles and miles of fun.

If that much outdoor activity is not your cup of tea, spend an afternoon browsing in Montpelier or visit The Country Bookshop in Plainfield. Enjoy dinner and some local brews at Positive Pie or try the Three Penny Taproom. Of course, Hill Farmstead is on tap!

Looking for more Vermont tastes? Cabot Creamery is a 15 mintue drive or visit Willow Moon Farm for some artisinal goat cheese and to visit with the new baby goats. Hit the Montpelier Winter Farmer's Market on alternate Saturday mornings for a smorgasbord of local meats, breads, sweets and veggies.
