Summer is for Fun
at Marshfield Inn & Motel.
Enjoy your visit to Vermont at Marshfield Inn & Motel. We offer quiet country accommodations on 37 acres convenient to both Montpelier and St. Johnsbury. It’s the perfect relaxing stop-over after a busy day of travel, or a comfortable place to settle for a few days while exploring Central Vermont or the Northeast Kingdom. (Be sure to check out our special events page for a listing of some great local activities.)
Situated on a knoll with panoramic views of the Green Mountains and the Winooski River Valley, we are mid-way between the villages of Marshfield and Plainfield. Here you can experience the cozy charm and beautiful surroundings of a B&B, with the privacy, convenience and reasonable price of a motel. The large Victorian Main House, built in 1881, was originally part of The Eaton Farm, an 800 acre sheep farm. Each of the motel units are large, clean and comfortable with views of the surrounding mountains. Hearty Vermont breakfasts are available each morning in the Main House Breakfast Room. Specialties on our menu include country fresh eggs and "from scratch" whole wheat pancakes with locally produced maple syrup and Cabot butter.
Marshfield Inn & Motel has been serving guests for over 40 years. We invite you to join us soon to experience our premier Vermont beauty, tranquility and 4-Season fun for yourself!
